Pukel, MD., a prominent physician who specializes in hematology and oncology, and the author of “Cancer and the Human Condition”. Learn the medical, physical, spiritual and historical aspects of this dreaded disease. The free lecture is at the Mid-Manhattan branch of the New York Public Library at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 11th. There are no reservations, so arrive in plenty of time to get a seat. Dr. Pukel also will be selling and signing his book. The Mid-Manhattan branch is at 40th St. and Fifth Avenue, across from the Main branch with the two stone lions out front.
