Hard to believe the first James Bond film, Dr. No, was released 50 years ago, in 1962. Reminder that NYC’s Museum of Modern Art, lovingly referred to as MoMA, is celebrating our ongoing love affair with 007 with a month-long series of screenings through October. James Bond favorites including Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, License to Kill, Live and Let Die, GoldenEye, and Casino Royale each are being screened at least twice.
The series features all the James Bonds — Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Roger Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. And a parade of Bond Girls and music themes by the likes of Shirley Bassey.
