You have one week left to get a FREE ticket to the blockbuster Central Park concert featuring Foo Fighters, Black Keys, Neil Young and other rock stars in Central Park next Saturday,  Sept. 29th. You have to earn the ticket, by promising to become a good global citizen and help fight global poverty. The free concert, sponsored by the Global Poverty Project (GPP),  on the Great Lawn, co-incides with the United National General Assembly, where the world’s diplomats will — or won’t — work to resolve global poverty. Tickets for the Central Park concert must be earned through the Global Poverty Project online platform, Global Citizen. In order to snag free tickets, you must become a “Global Citizen” and earn points by “sharing and taking actions against extreme poverty.” When you earn three points, you will be placed in a drawing to win two tickets to the event. The Global Citizen website offers information on current international health and development issues, and showcases non-profit partners, celebrities, musicians and others working in these specific areas.  Global Poverty Project website.
