Who knew that September 19th is Talk Like a Pirate Day. Krispy Kreme knows, and if you talk like a pirate on September 19, you’ll get one free doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme locations. Just say aargh! If you or the kids dress in a full pirate costume, you’ll get a free dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts. New York City and metro area locations are participating, but not all stores are participating, so it would be wise to phone or stop by first to be sure.
