Brooklyn carousel turns kaleidoscopic for music, art festival

The beautiful and historic Jane’s Carousel at the Brooklyn Bridge Park complex turns with kaleidoscopic music and art for one night only, Saturday, September 8th, as part of the Festival of New Trumpet Music 2012. The carousel, at Empire Fulton Ferry park, is playing special compositions and showing special videos for the evening, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., as musicians transform Jane’s Carousel into a whirling stage.
