Celebrate summer in Sweden at Ikea in the USA, with an all-you-can-eat crayfish festival that’s $9.99 for adults and just $2.49 for kids under 12. The festival — called kraftskiva in Swedish — is one day only, Friday, August 17th, and advance tickets are required since seating is limited. At Ikea Brooklyn, seatings are 1-3 PM, 4-6 PM and 6:30-8:30 PM. In addition to crayfish, the menu includes cucumber salad, salmon with horseradish or mustard sauce, meatballs with lingonberries, dill potatoes, assorted Swedish cheeses and assorted Swedish desserts and cookies. Remember — kids eat free at Ikea on Tuesdays.
