These one hour sessions, on Sundays, include tastings and a 10% discount on whatever you purchase in the store on the day of the class you attend. There are three more free Technique Classes in August, all focusing on what to do with the bounty of the backyard garden or your local farmer’s market.
- Sunday, August 12th — pickles, relishes and canning
- Sunday, August 19th — simple recipes with minimal prep time, to help you adjust to a new fall school and work schedule
- Sunday, August 26th — grinding your own grains for health and creativity. This session includes recipes from award-winning Chef Dan Barber of New York’s award-winning Blue Hill Restaurant, including gluten-free corn pancakes, creamy farina “risotto” and more.
