It’s difficult to describe the show entitled That One Should Open Like an Eyelid, since it’s part dance performance and part art installation, in the basement Liberty Hall theater and adjoining areas of the Ace Hotel in Chelsea. Discount tickets are just $12 for an event that’s been performed Springboard Danse Montréal and Jacob’s Pillow, starring Brooklyn’s own Danielle Russo Dance Company. Guests wander the rooms for a variety of sensory experiences including flower petals.  As we said — difficult to describe. The performance art experience is on three successive Tuesdays at 8 p.m. — August 28th, September 4th and September 11th.  The opening performance will be followed by a benefit reception with bonus solo and duet performances, live music and refreshments. Tickets are normally $20, but click here to buy discount tickets for $12 with the code DRDCSpecial.  The Ace Hotel is in a historic 1904 building, at 16 West 29th St.
