There’s still time to earn a FREE book before the Barnes & Noble’s Summer Reading Program ends on September 4th. The program rewards kids in grades one through six with a FREE book, after they’ve read eight, either from the library or from the collection at home. Parents and kids keep track of the books they’ve read in their “Reading Journal.” (download a journal here.) Once there’s a total of eight literary adventures, young readers can take the list to any participating location to pick out a well-deserved reward from a selection of children’s books. It’s easy to read eight books by September 4th, which is still three weeks away. And remember, Barnes & Noble also offers a FREE Kids’ Club all year long, with rewards and special offers for young readers.
