Queens Family Day on Sunday, July 29th is an afternoon of FREE events for the entire family, in Springfield Park, with all the things that make kids and the grown-ups who love them happy. That means face painting, craft workshops, free sports lessons including golf workshops, even a hip-hop dance class. The day also includes variety of performances featuring reggae inspired music, African soul and rhythm, bubbly and melodic soul music, and a high energy juggling performance. The program is part of the summer long SummerStage program of free events in NYC parks. From 4 pm. to 7 p.m. Event website.
