NYC hotel deals in Midtown, Wall St. area

Sleep cheap in New York City with hotel deals from Priceline.  A friend of mine just told me she got a $120 a night deal for a recently-renovated classic hotel in midtown next week, so we thought we’d look t some other current NYC hotel deals –

$139 for Doubletree Metropolitan by Hilton, in Midtown, a few blocks from Rockefeller Center

$145 for the Holiday Inn Express Fifth Avenue, in Midtown, a few blocks from Times Square

$152 for the Hampton Inn 35th Street, in Midtown, a block or two from Macy’s and the Empire State Building

$159 for the new Conrad by Hilton, in the Financial District, adjacent to the World Trade Center site and World Financial Center

$179 for the Affinia 50, a few blocks from Rockefeller Center

And this deal — $98 for The Belnord, on the Upper West Side, a few blocks from the American Museum of Natural History

There also are some special weekend rates starting at $47 in smaller hotels in Manhattan, and in the budget-priced national hotel chains with outposts in Brooklyn and Queens.
