NYC cheap eats nyconthecheapCelebrate all things French in New York City July 8-15 during French Restaurant Week, which celebrates haute and nouvelle cuisine for $17.89. More than 50 bistros and fine dining destinations are participating. The dates and the price are in honor of Bastille Week, which recognizes the start of the French Revolution.  Let them eat cake, croissants, pate, haricots vert, salade Nicoise, boeuf bourgignon, coq au vin, Roquefort cheese and some great French wine, too.  Participating restaurants include La Mirabelle on the Upper West Side, Le Singe Vert in Chelsea, and FADA in Williamsburg. Click here for the complete restaurant list, and to make reservations.  BTW — NYC Restaurant Week 2012 begins on July 16th.
