The annual Fourth of July Beats & BBQ Festival in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, promises free music and free BBQ. The music won’t run out — it’s skedded from 3 PM to 11 PM, but the free BBQ is only while supplies last, and only with the purchase of a beverage. The fifth Beats & BBQ: The Star Spangled Boogie 2012 is organized by Deepdance Promotions and LP ‘n Harmony bar, and features the Star Spangled Boogie beats by DJs including Ras, Kyle McNeil of WBAI Paccifica Radio and Jose G of Face the Bass Radio. The BBQ is by the chefs of Black Mamba. Beats & BBQ is at 683 Grand Street, between Manhattan and Graham Avenues. Event site. Take the L to either Graham or Grand.
