Schwinn bicycles and Us Weekly magazine have teamed for a double-header bike festival and free outdoor showing of the family-friendly Puss in Boots movie, with free ice cream, free popcorn and more. The Schwinn and Us Weekly Bike-In is 6 PM to 10 PM, Saturday, June 23rd, at Pier I in Riverside Park. The movie starts at 8:30, but before that, there’s a bike trial tent, featuring Schwinn bikes, of course, water bottle giveaway, an Instagram photo booth, and a special appearance by Dancing with the Stars Derek Hough. Schwinn encourages you to arrive by bike — there are extra bike racks and a special security guard for the evening. Check out Schwinn’s Facebook page for the event, with cool graphics and additional information when your mouse hovers over a logo. Pier 1 is at 70th Street and the Hudson River.
