Eddie Palmieri is a living legend, for his five decades of toe-tapping, dancable Salsa and Latin Jazz music. He’s celebrating his 75th birthday year with a FREE concert in Rockefeller Park on Thursday, June 21st. The nine-time Grammy Award winner is appearing with his Afro-Caribbean Jazz Octet, as part of the River to River Festival of summer events and concerts. The music begins at 7 p.m. This performance will be part of EP75, a worldwide celebration of the 75th year of Eddie Palmieri’s storied life and the legendary music he’s created.
