NYC Rooftop Film Festival begins tonight

Movies under the stars for just $10.  That’s what the NYC Rooftop Film Festival is, and the15th annual summer season begins tonight with an old-fashioned double-feature, of two new short films.  The NYC Rooftop Film Festival features mostly indie movies, also called underground films.  It’sthe Big Apple version of the  Sundance Film Festival, without all the glitz and hype.  Just movies in various outdoor locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, including NYC parks, for $10.  Check the schedule to see what’s playing where and when.  Bring a blanket, some friends, and some treats to nibble and sip.
