Master blenders take you though the process, and since there’s sampling and sipping, you have to be at least 21 years old to attend. The tastings are over five evenings, September 7-11, starting at 6:30 p.m., and although there are as many as four sessions an evening, they are filling up fast. So if you are interested, register faster than you can say ‘bottoms up”. The tastings are at the Altman Building, 135 West 18th St., but you can’t get in without the special code they’ll send you via email.
