Free Street Fairs this Weekend

Check out a new Big Apple neighborhood this weekend at one of the half dozen street fairs around town.  Street fairs and festivals are always FREE, but they always wind up costing something, because you always find something interesting to buy from the craftspeople and food vendors.

Saturday, July 17

• East Side Summer Festival, Lexington Ave. between 42nd and 57th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Fourteenth Street Festival, West 14th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Siren Music Festival, Stillwell Avenue and W. 10th Street, between the Boardwalk and Surf Avenue, Coney Island, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sunday, July 18

• Broadway Movie Day Festival, Broadway between 47th and 57th Streets, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• NYC Unfolds Street Fair, Broadway between Grand and Houston Streets, 10 a.n. to 6 p.m.
• St. Nicholas Avenue Festival, St. Nicholas Avenue between 181st St. and 191st St., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
