Free Concerts by Monaco Boys Choir

The Monaco Boys Choir will be performing later this year at the royal wedding of Monaco Prince Albert, son of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier.  Before then, you can enjoy them for FREE at two concerts in New York City.  The boys are performing a combination of sacred music and Big Apple patriotic favorites in honor of the Fourth of July.  The FREE concerts are Wednesday, July 7, at the Church of the Holy Family, 315 East 47th St.,  and Thursday, July 8th, at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 325 Park Ave. at 50th St., across from the Waldorf-Astoria.  Starting times for both is 6 p.m.  The award-winning boys’ choir was founded in 1973, and is part of the Monaco Cathedral Choir.  All the performers are between the ages of eight and 18.  The Big Apple concerts are the kick off of the choir’s summer tour, which includes Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Charlotte, and Orlando, Palm Beach and Miami in Florida.
