Clint Eastwood Film Festival at Lincoln Center

Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry, 1971

Make my day!  Make several of them, with some of the best movies ever made.  The Clint Eastwood Film Festival starts today at Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater, sponsored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center.  Between July 9 and July 27 there are westerns and police dramas, of course, including the Oscar-winning Unforgiven, plus comedies and more.  Tickets are $12, $8 for seniors and students, $7 for Film Society members.  Or, buy a five=film pass for $50/$35/$30.  Great way to see some hot movies and stay cool in the a/c.  Play Misty for Me. Space Cowboys, Million Dollar Baby, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Honkytonk Man, Gran Torino, Letters from Iwo Jima, The Bridges of Madison County.  What a list of films!  And that’s only part of the list of 37 Clint Eastwood films being shown.  The Walter Reade theater is at 65th and Broadway.
