Calling all Photographers to Unique NYC Photo Op

It happens just twice a year, when the sunset is perfecely aligned with Manhattan’s street grid, and the sun sets exactly in the middle of the street, between the buildings.  This year, the summer Big Apple solstice event is Monday, July 12th. B&H is hosting a FREE photo op, at the foot of 42nd Street, with professional photographers to help us amateurs get that picture postcard sunset shot.   There’s no registration, no signing up.  Just show up at Tudor City Place at First Ave and 42nd St.  at 7:45 p.m. sharp — with your camera, of course, and a tripod if you have one — for the shot of a lifetime.  The B&H group will be positioned on the overpass offering an elevated shot west across 42nd Street.  Then submit your photos to a “Manhattanhenge” contest for prizes.
