Summer Movies are $1 at AMC Theaters in NYC on Tuesdays

See movies for just $1 at AMC theaters in NYC from mid-June to mid-August.  It’s a special AMC summer promotion aimed at kids and the adults who take them to the movies.  The cheap seats are Tuesdays only, and only at 10 a.m., beginning June 15th, through August 10th.    Advance tickets go on sale on June 8th on the AMC website or at the box office of participating theaters — just enter your zipcode to find  the AMC theater nearest to you.  And if you happen not to live in the Big Apple, fear not — this is a nationwide program, so there are $1 movies at AMC theaters in New Jersey, Connecticut and beyond, and a reduced price popcorn and drinks package at $4.

• Imagine That, June 22nd
• Monsters vs. Aliens, June 29th

AMC is donating all proceeds from admission and concessions to two charities it supports — Variety – The Children’s Charity and the Will Rogers Institute. So this summer movie camp is a win for everybody.
