The Catherine Malandrino sample sale is hosted by shopping event company Savvy & Co. Samples of sample sale prices are a shift chiffon dress with tie waist, regular retail $795, sample sale price $295. A double layer silk chiffon top with pleated ruffle neckline, regular retail $325, sample sale price $95. Metropolitan Pavilion is at 123 West 18th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. The sale is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., through Wednesday.
