NYC's First LEGO Store Opens in Rockefeller Center With Free Gifts

The first LEGO Store in New York City opens in Rockefeller Plaza on Tuesday, June 29th, with three days of special events and free giveaways.  A team of LEGO Master Model Builders will be building  a giant, 15-foot apple out of red LEGO bricks, and you are invited to help.   The LEGO Big Apple is being built outdoors, in Rockefeller Plaza, rain or shine.  On Tuesday and again on Wednesday, the first 500 customers to spend $35 in the LEGO Store  receive an exclusive, limited-edition LEGO I Love New York t-shirt — child’s sizes only. On Thursday, the first 500 customers to spend $35 in the LEGO Store receive an exclusive, limited-edition LEGOBig Apple set.  The store opens at 8 a.m.  for the three days of the grand opening celebration, June 29th and 30th and July 1st.
