The ninth annual New York Times Arts & Lesiure weekend of lectures begins tonight, Thursday, January 7, with a full schedule of programs through Sunday. The four-day event is a celebration of the arts featuring interviews between New York Times journalists and famous guests from the world of film, media, music, television and theater. Here’s just a partial list — Angela Landsbury, five-time Tony award winning star of “A Little Night Music”, Jeff Bridges, star of the film “Crazy Heart”, which is getting Oscar buzz, and Top Chefs Padma Lakschmi and Eric Ripert. The entire schedule also is at Broadway World.
Most programs are $30, and reservations are recommended. All the programs are at the New York Times building, 242 W West 41st Street.
