Dance to 50s and 60s Rock 'n' Roll Music

music_clipart_notesSpend an evening dancing to the music of  Elvis, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley and the Comets, Chubby Checker and other 50s and 60s favorites,  at Iguana Swings.  The DJs play a rotating mix of music for Lindy, West Coast  Swing, Shag, and even a Cha Cha or two.  It’s great fun and great exercise, and even if both of your feet are left feet, you can just hang out to watch the cool moves on the dance floor.

Iguana Swings is the third Sunday of every month, and the $15 charge includes one bar drink.  The next dance is 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010.  The monthly dance is in the Lizard Lounge, downstairs in the Cafe Iguana, 250 West 54th, between Broadway and 8th Ave.
