Mountain Creek is in the Pocono Mountains, just one hour from Times Square, and offers some interesting skiing and snowboarding runs and a great terrain park for practicing or perfecting your 720s (for those of you who don’t know, that’s a double turn in mid-air). Through December 24th, you can buy the Triple Play Card, which offers you three days of lift tickets for $75, which means you get three days of skiing or riding for the price of one. And you can use the tickets anytime, weekdays or weekends, but not holidays.
One caveat – Mountain Creek gets pretty crowded on weekends, so my recommendation is weekdays.
