Whether you spell it Hanukkah or Chanukah, the week-long Festival of Lights still begins at sundown on Friday, December 11th. Take the kids to one of these family-oriented festivities on Saturday, December 12th:
The 14th Street Y has a free storytelling afternoon of Hanukkah stories that they are calling “Storatelling”. The event is 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the 14th Street Y, 344 East 14th Street near First Ave. Stories will include Judah the Macabee. This is a FREE event, so get there early to ensure a space.
The Jewish Community Center, better known by its initials, JCC, has a concert of Hanukkah music entitled “The Pharoah’s Daughter”, followed by activities with the musicians. The peformance is at 2:30 p.m. and the workshop follows at 3:45 p.m. The JCC is at 334 Amsterdam Ave., at 76th St.

I know this is really boring and you are skipping to the next comment, but I just wanted to throw you a big thanks – you cleared up some things for me!
Thanks are never boring. Thanks are always appreciated. Glad to have you as a visitor!
